Every family starts with a free 15-minute consultation.
Session fees
15 minutes by phone to talk through your goals and see if we are a good fit. Book it through Jane.
50 minutes, in person in Vancouver or virtual across B.C.
50 minutes per session. Most families need 3 to 4 sessions to build a written safety plan with their child.
Paying for care
Extended health care plans are very individualized, but most provide some amount of coverage for Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs). Check your plan to determine the amount covered per session and in total for your family, for registered clinical counselling services.
I can direct-bill the Autism Funding Unit for eligible clients.
Accepted payment methods: payments are made through the Jane app via credit card.
A receipt is provided via Jane after each session once payment is received.
Policies
Clients are welcome to cancel appointments through the Jane app up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment, and no-shows, are still subject to a 50% fee. I may be unable to continue seeing clients after two no-shows, and I am happy to refer to other practitioners if necessary.
If illness or transportation is a barrier, I am happy to move an in-person session online.

While I can only provide therapy during booked sessions, I can often offer emergency sessions for existing clients within a reasonable time period. Please email me directly if your child needs extra support between sessions, to explore my availability to book.
You don't have to figure this out alone. Let's find a way forward for your child, together.
